Each piece in the exhibition expresses an article in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The aim of the exhibition is to raise human rights awareness amongst the artistic as well as the wider community, as well as to show the work of local artists.
The opening night will be held on Wednesday 26th November 2008, from 6pm until late. Human rights lawyer George Newhouse will be there to talk about his work with aboriginals from the Northern Territory regarding the intervention at 8pm. The People's Choice and Artists Panel Awards will be announced at 8.30pm. Light refreshments and finger foods will be provided and there will be jazz band playing.
