Online action centre hints and tips
Welcome to the hints and tips page for Amnesty International Australia's online action centre.
Have you registered as a website user yet?
All of our appeals are available to everyone, so you don't have to register. However, by registering you are able to take action more quickly as you won't have to enter your personal details or enter a security code each time.
Other reasons to register include:
- being part of the Amnesty International online community - members can communicate with each other and with Amnesty International Australia to discuss actions
- being counted - members who take action on line help us put real names to our activists and let us know how many people take action, this helps increase the pressure for action
- staying informed - our online members are the first to hear about changes and additions to the tools available to our online community.
How to register
Just fill in our simple registration form - you just need to provide us with a few details. Your real name is not available to other members of the action centre, but we do use it to format letters and emails you send and petitions you sign when you take action.
You will be sent a confirmation email after registering. This will contain a link to confirm your registration.
If you didn't get the confirmation email
If you didn't get the confirmation email, firstly check your spam or junk mail filters. The confirmation email is automatically generated so may be flagged as spam. If it is not there contact the Supporter Relations Team and we can resend the confirmation email.

I hope that Australia is bringing diplomatic pressure to bear in the fight against this prehistoric legislation.
