To mark Poverty Week, Amnesty International ACT/Southern NSW organised a one-hour forum.

To increase public awareness regarding the World Day Against the Death Penalty, Amnesty International ACT/Southern NSW set up a public information stall.

The ACT/SNSW LGBTQ team and its supporters organised a speakers’ forum on ‘gay rights as human rights’. The event was followed by a successful vigil to remember past and present victims of homophobia.
