Don’t Forget Tibet
On Sunday 3 August in Melbourne come and join Tibetans and Tibet supporters for two exciting events -
World’s Biggest Mandala
11.00am City Square Swanston Street
Practised by Tibetan monks for centuries, the sand mandala symbolises the transitory nature of the universe. On this final Sunday before the Beijing Olympics we plan to enact the sacred mandala ritual on a grand scale.
Silent Vigil
2.00pm Chinese Consulate Toorak
For six months Kesang Wangmo has led a silent vigil outside the Chinese consulate, Join Kesang, her family and members of Melbourne’s Tibetan and Buddhist communities for the final session of the vigil.
Help us grow the movement and make the coming weeks the beginning of a brighter chapter for Tibet.
