Sydney action 30 / 31 July
In Sydney's Martin Place from 8am - 6 pm on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st July we will be 'tearing down the wall' of Internet repression and calling for freedom of expression online in China.
Join us to tear every brick out of the wall and send a clear message to internet companies that you support freedom of expression in China.
The action is free, quick, fun, informative and effective. This is the last chance to see the full 20 metre wall, so if you live in Sydney, come down and help us defend human rights.
Nu Wa and I will see you there, Sophie.

I think this is a great idea, which will really get peoples atention. Seeing as I work in Martin Place, I will most definitely be attending! I think Amnesty does a fantastic job in raising awareness about human rights, everyone can become an informed citizen and become unified in our thoughts and actions towards enacting and enabling change towards a more progressive, ethical, safe and just society.
