SBS Dateline interviews Rebiya Kadeer
More than 100 people filled Amnesty Internationals Sydney Action Centre to hear a powerful speech by Rebiya Kadeer, a Uighur human rights campaigner and former Chinese prisoner of conscience.
The event, on Thursday 28 February, was Rebiya Kadeer's final engagement in her Australian visit. The event was filled with passion, tears and hope. Thank you to everyone who attended.
We are continuing to campaign for the release of Rebiya Kadeer's two sons who are still imprisoned in China today. Take part by writing to the Chinese authorities in the Uighur Autonomous Region.

Rebiya Kadeer is the most impressive woman. Thank you Amnesty for having her speak in your Centre. Concerned citizens must not let this abuse of the Uighar people continue.
