Thousands rally for human rights in the Middle East and North Africa
A year ago jubilation hit Tahrir Square as news of Hosni Mubarak's resignation and the end of Egypt's repressive regime spread amongst protesters.
To mark one year since the fall of Mubarak, thousands rallied in cities across the world on 11 February 2012, demanding respect for human rights in the Middle East and North Africa as part of a global day of action organised by Amnesty International.
