I agree - am becoming increasingly frustrated at being excluded rom various things, (even professional!) because I will never become a Facebook member, for all sorts of very valid reasons. Would really love to see more deatils so will wait for the Getmusic link.
Please note that Facebook is not ‘the world’.

Hey all, if you don’t have Facebook you’ll be able to preview the album on Getmusic’s page from 3 February: http://www.getmusic.com.au/variousartists/store/detail?id=132188
Sandra, please get in touch at web(at)amnesty.org.au if you’d like some help accessing the Facebook preview.
Brent, are you signed up to our email list? We do have a similar structure to AVAAZ - we use our email service to promote urgent, reactive actions for immediate campaign impact (our latest action on Guantanamo Bay had over 164,000 signatures globally!). You can sign up here if you’re not already a part of it: http://www.amnesty.org.au/emailsignup/

Hey, Amnesty! Why only make the preview of the album available through Facebook? Agree with Bruce & Michael. I don’t want to be on Facebook and I do want to preview the album. What are you going to do about it?

I agree with Sandra, Michael & Bruce. Don’t believe in Facebook. Wouldn’t mind a listen first.
On another note - how about Amnesty take a leaf out of Aavaz networking and email service etc. “Sign now” petitions seem to be a great way of achieving immediate success. Urgent actions might achieve more and make it easier for more people to take action.

I’m on FB and have tried 3 times to access it and Google has told me each time that it’s not available, so you’re not disadvantaged Michael and Bruce. I too would have liked to hear before deciding to buy, so probably won’t take the next step.

I hope that it’s not now a requirement to join Facebook to fully participate in Amnesty activities!
Some of us still make discerning choices in our lives.

I applaud the album concept, for people from that era it’s wonderful. A caveat though, it would be great to be able to listen to at least a couple of extracts without having to join Facebook. Not everyone is into Facebook. Most older people aren’t, actually, but we still buy discs, whereas many young people never do nowadays. So there seems to be a marketing disconnect here. Was this a strategy planned just by youngsters who are rather out of touch with older people?
