Secretary-General of Amnesty International, Irene Khan, invites you to join her at the Art Gallery of NSW as she launches her book, ' The Unheard Truth: poverty and human rights'. Irene Khan is a distinguished leader in human rights advocacy who is responsible for developing and coordinating strategies to promote and protect human rights. Irene has led Amnesty International for eight years and has received several prestigious awards for work including the Sydney Peace Prize in 2006.
