Without adequate standards to regulate the international arms trade, people are killed daily and denied human rights. Governments are permitting the use of weapons for repression, conflict, violence and human rights violations.

This year we need your help to encourage governments around the world to stand up for human rights and commit to a global Arms Trade Treaty which puts human rights front and centre. This means a global Treaty with rules which require all States to prevent transfers of weapons which are likely to be used to commit serious violations of human rights such as systematic killings, forcible recruitment of child soldiers, mass rape and war crimes.

Come visit the Amnesty International stall at Fullarton Markets on 28 April and help support and Arms Trade Treaty.
