  • The Global Education Project, provides professional development to teachers on global issues. (providing case studies, learning quests, quiz builder and teaching activities)
  • Human Rights Resource Centre, the University of Minnesota creating and distributing human rights education materials.
  • Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC), resources on a range of topics from the PIAC Community Education Kit Protecting Human Rights in Australia are available from PIAC (providing policies, legal landmark cases, as well as news and events).

  • Human Rights Education Associates, the online Human Rights Learning Centre is a section of the HREA web site. Courses via distance learning for human rights advocates and development workers. Tutorials that introduce learners to a number of human rights issues in an interactive mode. Study Guides that offer brief introductions to various human rights topics/themes. Discussion Boards on which you can ask questions, share insights and exchange opinions.

  • The Global Education website provides a huge variety of resources on issues such as children's rights, human rights, refugees, HIV etc. offering primary and secondary sources, case studies and teaching activities.
UN Cyberschoolbus
  • The United Nations Cyber School Bus Human Rights Page this project will help students understand the idea of human rights, gain a sense of themselves as people with dignity and hence with rights, and finally encourage them to act. Provides resources and links, a question and answer section as well as authentic stories.
Film
  • Ronin Films can supply you with videos such as Rabbit Proof Fence and Punished Not Protected, which focuses on asylum-seeker issues. Free study guides to go with some of the videos are produced by Australian Teachers of Media.
