Ahmed Ghailani was held in CIA blacksites for two years before being transferred to Guantanamo Bay. Now Ghailani will be afforded due process in a US Federal Court.

Military Commissions Set to Continue

President Obama announced on Friday 15th May that the widely criticised Military Commissions system created under President Bush would be retained with a few amendments. Amnesty International has been calling for the Commissions to be scrapped and for a return to the rule of law.
