Taking action for human rights within the curriculum - survey results

We asked teachers which of forms of action they would see as practical within class time (or for homework) at their school/institution. The top 5 methods of action were:

  • Creating posters/brochures for display around the school (83%)
  • Writing letters to governments (70%)
  • Building a relationship with students in a school overseas (69%)
  • Organising a survey on human rights within the school (63%)
  • Organising an event eg film, speaker, performance/drama activity with students as managers (61%)
