Hands in the air: stop violence against women, World Social Forum, Mumbai, India, 2004

The Coffs Harbour Amnesty Action Group and the Bellingen Domestic Violence Committee invite you to a morning tea to promote White Ribbon Day. White Ribbon Day, on 25 November, marks the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

This year the Committee is highlighting the Love Bites program. Love Bites is a school-based early intervention and prevention program that focuses on the issues of sexual assault and family/domestic violence. The program is facilitated by both male and female educators, teachers and counsellors experienced in dealing with sexual assault and family/domestic violence.
