Stop For Poverty is your chance to be one of hundreds of Sydneysiders to assemble suddenly in secretly predetermined public places, perform a synchronised ‘Stop Global Poverty’ freeze, and then disperse casually back into a curious crowd of onlookers.

Pause! Halt! Arresto!… we mean just that! Stop mid-step, mid-sip or mid-conversation and freeze in a position that says ‘Stop Global Poverty’. With hundreds of people freezing together, the action will catch the attention of all passersby and also (hopefully) the state and national media. On Tuesday 16 February we want the public of NSW and beyond to be thinking about issues of poverty and justice.
