If you're new to Amnesty International Australia or just want to get more involved - then join us at a welcoming event.

‘Get Active’ events are held every other month. They are your chance to learn about volunteering at Amnesty International. Volunteer roles and projects will be outlined together with the ways you can take action on human rights.

These events are informal with a mix of brief presentations, information stalls, and opportunities to socialise with established volunteers/activists, sharing their experiences in human rights activism. This event is open to supporters, prospective volunteers, and, in fact, anyone who is interested in getting active with human rights or would like to know more about human rights/Amnesty International.

If you are attending the ‘Get Active’ Evening to follow-up opportunities to volunteer, you may want to bring along a copy of your CV.
