Amnesty NSW and the Demand Dignity Network invite you to a free screening of John Pilger’s seminal documentary, The Secret Country - The First Australians Fight Back.
Examining the history of the persecution of Indigenous Peoples in Australia, this 1985 film explores issues that are still pertinent to current dialogue surrounding Indigenous Peoples' rights in Australia. A special guest speaker will introduce the film and be available for discussion afterwards. The event is free and open for everyone to join. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
