Amnesty International relies on the work of volunteers to help defend human rights around the world. Amnesty International is a democratic and voluntary organisation this enables you as a volunteer and activist to work at every level from support work to decision-making and participating in Amnesty International activist consultations. Tasks range from general office administration duties to coordinating a major campaign or event.
This information session will provide you with the opportunity to find out more about Amnesty International, our current campaigns and how you can get involved. The information session itself should take about one hour and will provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the organisation or the volunteer opportunities that exist. For those who decide that volunteering with Amnesty International is for them this information session will be followed by a full day of training on Tuesday 8 February. If you are unable to make these dates, please contact us and we will try to make alternative arrangements.
