Schools Network (QLD/NNSW)

Providing support, resources and information for school based groups.

The QLD schools network consists of 209 Amnesty International groups that operate within schools. The purpose of the network is to assist students take action and learn about human rights. The network is coordinated by a group of volunteers that regularly contacts schools group and provide support and advice on the most effective forms of activism.

Schools network volunteers:

• Maintain personalised contact with schools groups in a defined geographic area.
• Support schools group activism.
• Map Schools within their area.
• Develop new schools group within their area.
