Chapel Hill
The Chapel Hill group's focus is on Awareness for Amnesty International Australia and Fundraising. The group members also dedicate their time to letter writing and the Action File: Sri Lanka 'disappearances' and to letter writing.
What does the Chapel Hill Group do?
- It is committed to an Action File.
- Members write letters of appeal to politicians
- Members organise library displays.
- Members participate in Campaigns.
- It has fund raising activities like a film fund - raising afternoon
- Supporting the Davie George Fund
- It supports regional activities, if possible.
The Group works to:
- FREE all prisoners of conscience
- ENSURE prompt and fair trials for all political prisoners
- END torture, 'disappearances', political killings and executions
- STOP violence against women
- PROMOTE the protection of human rights

- Disappearances in Sri Lanka
How many Library displays do we have a year?
- Usually two or three.
What have we done to raise funds?
- Regular Film events
- Sell 'Entertainment Books'
- Loose Change Project
