Brisbane City Letter Writing Group

The group is focused on the traditional Amnesty International action of letter writing and also concentrates on Urgent actions.

This group is focused on the traditional Amnesty International action of letter writing and also concentrates on Urgent Actions.

The group meets at lunchtime in a city café (currently the American Bookshop Café) on the second Monday of each month. Most of the meeting time is taken up with writing letters. New Amnesty members are welcome to come along and get any of their questions answered about letter writing.

Past events:

• Writing numerous letters on topics including indigenous rights and capital punishment to governments around the world.
