Volunteers needed!

We are currently looking for volunteers for upcoming events and campaigns in 2009.

Other volunteer opportunities include:

general office administration duties
graphic design for posters, newsletters, website and event materials
responding to emails, phone messages and requests for information
campaigning work within activist networks or local groups
providing administrative support to the Community Campaigner and Regional Administration Officer
reporting on, and photographing, events
assisting with mail-outs
producing campaign material, content for website, newsletters and publicity materials
sending out new member information
updating information databases
support work for local groups and networks and the Branch Committee
events administration and coordination.

Information sessions and training:

Amnesty International QLD/NNSW region runs quarterly volunteer information sessions and training at the Brisbane Action Centre. We just had our autumn volunteer intake, but you don't have to wait for the next information session or volunteer training to start working with Amnesty International.
