Australia's premier Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts and Cultural Festival is an annual free family-friendly event held in the heart of the city and features the very best music, ceremony, cultural workshops, forums and visual arts.

There will be workshops, forums, visual arts market and cultural demonstrations throughout the festival (times announced soon) Come and share in the oldest living culture in the world - all are welcome!

Opening night features Kineman Karma, Zennith and Casey Donovan.

On Saturday you can hear music from dawn till dusk with Glenn Skuthorpe, Eddie Peters, Tony Minniecon & Souled Out, The Casm Soul Band and newcomers Beck Gollan and Ellie Lovegrove.

Then get ready for the Spirit Dance Ceremony on Saturday night at 7:30pm, hosted by Frances Rings (Bangarra) and featuring over 60 dancers, from traditional Inma to contemporary fusions of the past and future.

Our writer's program, presented in partnership with the David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education and Research UniSA, features the award winning Dylan Coleman and graphic novelist Brenton McKenna as keynote speakers. It also includes the launch of Southerly Publications’ Indigenous writer's edition with Ali Cobby Eckerman and Lionel Fogarty.

Sunday is another full day of music from Warren Milera, Jimblah, Rough Image, Corey Theatre, Caper, Black Diamond and the Ngarrindjeri Miminar Kaikian Choir with dance from Taikurtinna, Kuma Kaaru and Tal-Kin-Jeri.

Women Of Soul starring Emma Donovan, Evie J Willie and Miss Min close the festival on Sunday at 9pm.
