Come celebrate the launch of Tasmania's latest action group and hear from our exciting guest speakers.
The night will feature prominent gay rights advocate Rodney Croome, national convenor of Australian Marriage Equality, and Susan Ditter, from gender and sexuality support service Working It Out.
The event will kick-off the Human Rights Queer Network (HRQN), who will raise awareness of local and international human rights abuses against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) individuals and communities. HRQN will campaign to raise the profile of these issues in Australia.
On the night, you will also hear what the HRQN has planned for the year, and find out how to get involved.
To RSVP, please email tashrqn@amnesty.org.au. Free drinks and nibbles will be available on the night.
