On the 11th October Parliament will reconvene and decide whether people seeking asylum should be processed in Australia or offshore. If we stand together, we can influence this decision and protect the rights of asylum seekers.
Come along with us on The Great Amnesty International Victorian Petition Tour and join others collecting petitions across Victoria to tell our government to process refugees onshore.

Amnesty International Victoria will be traveling around the state until Monday 10th October collecting signatures and supporters on the way. We want you to get your friends and take to the streets with Amnesty International supporters across Australia to help the government to do the right thing.

Once all of the petitions have been collated, Amnesty International’s Secretary General, Salil Shetty, will hand deliver them to Australia's Immigration Minister Chris Bowen ahead of the 11 October vote -- so start collecting your signatures today!
