MEDITA - Youth Action Day at Penny Black’s (over 18s) as part of National Youth Week
On Saturday the 17th of April from 12 – 5pm Amnesty International Victoria’s Youth Action Network will host a mini festival with music and information stalls at the Penny Black pub in Brunswick. Over 18’s only.

First Refugee Team Meeting of 2010

A Community Perspective on the Northern Territory Intervention: In Conversation with Richard Downs
Richard is the spokesperson for the Aboriginal elders who have walked off their community and set up a camp outside the “prescribed area” in protest at the Northern Territory Intervention. He will be speaking with Ben Schokman, Senior Lawyer at the Human Rights Law Resource Centre and Sarah Marland, Campaign Coordinator of Amnesty International’s Demand Dignity campaign.
