North East Metro (Eltham)

AI North East Metro (Eltham) group encompasses a large region including most of the Manningham, Banyule and Nillumik shires.

The group meets on a monthly basis and we discuss campaigns, fundraising, public seminars and other activities in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

We regularly have guest speakers.

In addition to the mainstream Amnesty International activities, our group participates at the Eltham Festival in November every year, and we hold an annual public forum on a topical theme in April/May.

The North East Metro (Eltham) Local Group of Amnesty International Australia has monthly meetings:

TIME: 8:00pm on the first Thursday of every month.

VENUE: The Eltham Uniting Church meeting room, corner of Main Road and John Street, Eltham. Enter via John Street. [Melways Map 21 Ref J6].

Meetings normally last for around 1½ hours, followed by light refreshments.
