Brazen Hussies Screenings 2021

March 8 marks International Womens’ Day 2021, a day to celebrate the incredible women in our lives and the sacrifices they have made, and continue to make to challenge injustice and protest gender inequality.

This year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge, and Brazen Hussies is a new documentary that does exactly that. Brazen Hussies celebrates the bold women of the Women’s Liberation Movement right here in Australia, and shows us how a daring and diverse group of women joined forces to demand equality and create powerful social change.

Activists around the country are hosting screenings of Brazen Hussies in their local communities to mark International Womens’ Day and to take action on women’s rights activists still at risk today.
