Your support meant our researchers could investigate and expose the horri c treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in detention centres in Queensland.
After months of campaigning and lobbying, the Queensland government announced an Independent Review into Youth Detention and then adopted all review recommendations to create a path to a more rehabilitative youth justice system that gives children the best chance to meet their potential.
