Bendigo Action Group

About us: We are a group of activists from Central Victoria who have been championing human rights in Bendigo for 40 years!

Meeting time: 2pm, 2nd Friday of the Month (January-November, except Good Friday)

Location: Bendigo Library, 259 Hargreaves Street (meeting room 3, upstairs).

*Covid: due to Library closures, the Bendigo Group has been meeting on Zoom

Braidwood Action group

About us: The Braidwood group run stalls at local markets, including the famous Braidwood Quilt festival as well as letter writing events.

Brisbane City Action Group

About us: We were founded in 1993 by passionate people committed to human rights. We value collaboration and inclusion, and promote human rights at a local level.

Meeting time: 6pm-7pm, 1st Wednesday of each month (excluding January)

Brisbane Letter Writing Group

About us: We meet once a month to write letters on urgent situations where people’s human rights are violated. It’s a great way to take action on human rights causes from around the world, all in your lunchtime!

Brunswick Action Group

 

We are a group that holds a range of events to champion human rights.

The Brunswick Action Group holds letter-writing events, where we write letters for authorities to prevent human rights violations.

We also organise stalls, movie nights and more! The Brunswick Action Group meets at 10:30am on the last Saturday of each month at PepperJacks Café.

Carlton Action Group

About us: Our group has a diversity of ages and cultural backgrounds. Meetings are friendly occasions where we can discuss activities and events that are important to the group, as well as Amnesty campaigns.
