The Amnesty Curtin group aims to raise awareness of human rights in the local community by giving people a chance to get involved and make a difference.
We focus on a priority campaign each semester by hosting events such as stalls, movie nights and letter writing sessions.

We are involved in letter writing and campaigning on a broad range of human rights issues. We are a diverse group from the local community who are always looking for new members.
Our group meets monthly on Tuesday night at the Western Star Hotel to discuss how to best implement Amnesty campaigns focusing on the human rights of refugees, asylum seekers and indigenous people.
Contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: we work with Amnesty’s ACT/Southern NSW action centre.
We meet at 8pm on the first Tuesday of each month for people from Hawthorn, Boorondara, Windsor and Glen Iris.
