Ni Yulan, China

Take action to campaign for Ni Yulan, a Chinese woman made homeless for defending housing rights.

Ni Yulan has braved years of violent harassment for defending housing rights. The former lawyer has supported scores of people forced from their homes by lucrative construction projects. In response, the authorities have harassed, monitored, arrested and repeatedly evicted her. She was once beaten so badly that she now uses a wheelchair. Ni Yulan continues to help people stand up for their rights. It’s our turn to stand up for her.

Tell China to stop harassing Ni Yulan.
