Committee positions

We are seeking expressions of interest for two (volunteer) positions on the Nomination & Assessment Committee. Closing date: 1 June 2022.

The Nomination and Assessmnent Committee (NAC) is a committee established under the AI Australia Constitution. Its role is to identify and source candidates for National Board positions and to assess their suitability. The NAC is comprised of three members, one of whom is elected at the Annual General Meeting, along with two reserves.

The two remaining NAC members are appointed by the Board, one of them being an independent person (not a member of Amnesty International Australia) with expertise in selecting people for board or executive roles.

One position and two reserve positions are up for election at the 2022 Annual General Meeting.

A member of Amnesty International Australia may nominate for either the member position, one of the two reserve positions or both.

How to nominate: please email the company secretary for a copy of the Information Kit and nomination form. Nominations should be sent to company.secretary@amnesty.org.au and will be uploaded to the Annual General Meeting site upon receipt.
