Your support meant we could gather over 300,000 actions on behalf of Máxima, farmer and human rights defender in Peru, and members of her family who were accused
of land invasion, calling on the Peruvian government to protect them from any attack or act of harassment or intimidation.
Thanks to you, on 3 March 2017 a Supreme Court ended the trial for land invasion against Máxima. The authorities publicly recognised her legitimate and important work as an environmental and human rights defender.
