Australia and Canada say no to torture
2018
HELPED STOP TORTURE
Together we took thousands of actions to demand justice for torture survivors including Claudia Medina in Mexico. In 2012 Claudia was tortured into a false confession that led to her criminal conviction. Today she’s free because of your contribution.
Your support also led to several countries taking progressive steps to stop torture, including Canada, along with Australia
who nally pledged to prevent torture by committing to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture (OPCAT).
Without your continued support none of this would be possible.

TOGETHER, WE WILL CONTINUE TO CAMPAIGN FOR A WORLD FREE OF TORTURE, SAVING LIVES OF MANY MORE PEOPLE LIKE CLAUDIA.
