Victoria
In Victoria, Amnesty International Australia (AIA) works to defend human rights - both internationally and nationally - at a local level.
The Victorian Charter for Human Rights and Responsibilities is under review. Add your voice. Contact your local MP to let them know why having a Victorian Human Rights Charter is important to you and that weakening the Charter is an unacceptable outcome of the review.
There are over 30 Action Groups based on location and theme. If you want to get involved in campaigning for human rights, join an Action Group. Visit Action Groups to view the different Action Groups campaigning on human rights issues in Victoria.
On the first Monday of each month we welcome you to our Get Active meeting where you can learn about AIA in Victoria. To find out more please see the events section.
