Did you know that unlike VIC, QLD and the ACT, NSW does not have a state Human Rights Act?
But there is opportunity for that to change! The historic NSW Human Rights Bill will be introduced to parliament on Thursday 23 October. We need to press MPs to vote for the Bill to protect our rights in NSW.
The ACT, QLD and VIC all protect the rights of their citizens with a Human Rights Act. Now we have the chance to make this happen for NSW.
Call your state MP this week to ask them to support the bill to have our human rights protected by law.
