Every year, millions of people around the globe take action through letters, petitions, and solidarity messages to help free people unjustly imprisoned, protect those under threat, and demand justice for communities whose rights are being violated.
This year’s Write for Rights campaign features ten powerful cases; nine from the international sector and one that Amnesty International Australia has picked up locally. Our local focus is Mark Kislitsyn, a trans man and human rights defender from Russia who has been imprisoned on politically motivated charges for his anti-war activism.
This year, we’re continuing the fight for human rights with new cases and new opportunities to take action.
