Phase one complete
Thanks to your support, we have completed phase one of our movement consultation – shaping Amnesty International Australia’s campaign priorities for the next 5 years.

In the survey that closed last week, you identified 7 key topics:
- Safe pathways to peace (refugee rights)
- Climate justice
- Right to protest
- Indigenous justice
- Inequality and economic insecurity
- Human rights and the next generation
- International portfolio
Phase two
Now that we have identified these 7 topics, we’re opening up the floor to you – our vital movement – once again.

Head to our brand-new Your Priorities forum, to share your thoughts on what topics are most urgent for us to focus on, and what might inspire you to become actively involved.
To participate in the online discussion, sign up here. We’ll keep you informed on our campaign priorities as they develop.
You can learn more about our initial campaign focus areas and see videos from our campaigners on the areas that we believe we can have the strongest impact on over the next 5 years:

During these panels, we will bring together activists, partners, and communities with lived experience to collaboratively identify key human rights challenges and explore effective campaign strategies.
We’re committed to ensuring a diverse and equitable panel composition. To participate in any of these panels, please submit an expression of interest.
