The ACT Human Rights Commission and Amnesty International (ACT/NSW) will hold lunchtime community forum on where speakers will discuss the implications of the marriage equality survey and for Australian and ACT human rights and discrimination law.
ACT HRC President Dr Helen Watchirs will chair the forum. Speakers include:
Anne-Marie Delahunt, Chair of the ACT LGBTIQ Ministerial Advisory Council
Katina Fanning, Chair of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body
Amnesty International (ACT/NSW) Bede Carmody
Other speakers have yet to be finalised.
