ARTillery is gathering activists and creatives, getting them to come together and get creative.

Join one of ARTillery’s crafternoons, enjoy a bit of craft, and create a lot of change. Kicking off the series is Banner Together, an afternoon all about protest banners and posters. We will be creating banners for Amnesty International’s week of action for refugee rights. During the week of action Amnesty activists, all around the globe, will shine a light on Australia’s abusive offshore policies and encourage our government to uphold the rights of refugees.

Join ARTillery at South Bank Parklands on Sunday the 27th of November at 1:00pm for an afternoon of creativity, craft, and campaigning.

Interested in getting more involved?

In the battle for human rights, art is our ARTillery. ARTillery is an art-activism based human rights initiative of Amnesty International Australia. Run by young volunteer activists, ARTillery is pushing the boundaries of Brisbane’s arts scene. ARTillery artists shed light on the dark side of humanity, and inspire us to see the world differently.
