Fancy some chilled out down time knitting with fellow queer human rights activists? Then this is definitely for you! Join Queer Amnesty International Adelaide Action Group and ARTillery South Australia‘s new knitting circle, happening every Saturday this June.

This knitting circle aims to allow local LGBTQIA+ members to bond, build rapport and engage in casual queer-related conversations and discussions over knitting. The circle officially launches on 2 June at the Amnesty International Action Centre (Level 8, 70 Pirie Street). Thereafter, the circle will meet every Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm.

All knit products will be sold at community events to fundraise for the activism activities of Queer Amnesty International Adelaide Action Group. Yarn and knitting needles will be provided at the circle and will need to be returned at the end of the session. You are more than welcome to bring along and work on your own knitting projects at the circle.
