Amnesty International South Eastern group invites you to meet via skype with Daoud Nassar.

About the speaker:

Daoud Nassar is a Palestinian farmer and director of the Tent of Nations Peace Project. You will hear out about the project from Daoud and how it arose from his struggle to retain his grandfather’s 100 acre farm on the West Bank in face of Israeli government threats to seize the land.

The farm has been in Daoud’s family for 100 years. Today it is an educational, environmental farm, welcoming thousands of visitors each year. It is a centre of peace. People from many countries come together to learn, share, and build bridges of understanding. The farm promotes the prospect of peace-with-justice throughout Israel and Palestine.

About the event:

Please bring a gold coin donation to join the event.

Daoud’s nephew, Roujeh Mizher will be present to introduce the Skype session. He will also be available for comment and questions.

After the Skype session, there will be a Q&A with Daoud Nassar.

Food and Drink:

Please stay for a light supper after the event!
