The Unimelb student union (UMSU) will be hosting a sleepover on campus.
Come along to the UMSU sleepover – the Amnesty Unimelb group will be showing Freeheld at 1am! We will have a late night human rights sesh in the lead up to an exciting semester of activism on campus. This event is open to Unimelb students, and we would love to see you there!
Freeheld
Freeheld stars Julianne Moore and Ellen Page. The film tells the story of police officer Laurel Hester’s fight to allow her pension to be transferred to her partner after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
This film will form part of the Unimelb’s marriage equality focus in O Week this year!
When?
The sleepover starts at 7pm, but the film will be on at 1am.
