Do you have ‘Make a difference in the fight for human rights’ on your New Year’s resolution list? If you do, join us for our first ‘Get Active: Intro to Activism’ for the year!

A big part of why Amnesty International Australia can have the impact that we do is because of the work of our amazing activists and volunteers all around the country! Whether it’s organising events in their community, gathering petition signatures at their weekend market, meeting with their local MPs, or rocking up to a protest ready to lead the chants and wave their posters proudly, we’re unstoppable together thanks to them.

Come along to our first ‘Get Active: Intro to Activism’ session to find out more about why we believe activism is crucial in the fight for human rights, and how you can get involved.

It’ll be a relaxed and informal session. Whether you’re brand new to the world of activism and volunteering and are still figuring out how you want to make a difference, or you’re a veteran activist keen to contribute your expertise, there’s a place for you in our movement.

5pm in WA | 6.30pm in NT | 7pm in Qld | 7.30pm in SA | 8pm in NSW, ACT, Vic and Tas
