Unite with Australian’s across the country on April 10 to demonstrate your support for refugees and people seeking asylum.
There are many Palm Sunday events this year, in partnership, enabling a variety of ways for people to participate. These events include: an online national forum themed around what a ‘fair and just policy’ looks like (April 6) – register here, on the ground rallies across the country (April 10), covid-safe social media activities and there’s even bell ringing! (April 10).
By participating in these events you’re amplifying these important issues. Make some noise and help put pressure on the Australian government to urgently prioritise:
- Permanent visas and family reunion
- Fair and timely assessment of all claims
- Income support for those unable to find employment
- Release of all refugees from indefinite detention
- End offshore detention
