This event will be held to shine a light on WA’s horrifying family and domestic violence statistics and remind all West Australians they can play a part in stopping the violence.
We aim to raise awareness of violence against women in WA and encourage communities to take an active role in making change.
The event will be held on the 3rd of December from 4:30pm – 7:30pm at Perth City Farm. This is a great location as it is in the centre of Perth within close walking distance of public transport.
We have invited representatives from organisations that provide services to people who are affected by gender-based violence to set up a stall to talk to the public and provide resources. Some of these include the Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia, Staric, Women’s Health Network, Zonta House, and Rainbow Right’s Watch.
