Australians are coming together like never before to make marriage equality a reality in Australia. We need to show our politicians that we’re serious about marriage equality. We won’t give up until LGBTQI Australians have the freedom to marry who they love, just like everyone else.

So we’re holding ‘letters of love’, an event all about creating colourful cards showing your support for marriage equality, and then sending them to your local Parliamentarian.

Get your creative juices flowing and join us on the 22nd of March to send your local MP vibrant cards and letters and show your support for marriage equality. After all, this is all about love, without arbitrary legal restrictions.

Get crafty at our Brisbane Action Centre, and be part of the thousands around Australia that are campaigning for marriage equality! Materials will be provided, as well as tips on getting in touch with your local Parliamentarian, and making sure they listen to your concerns.

LGBTQI Australians have waited long enough to be treated as equals in this country. It’s time for Parliament to do its job and legislate to remove discrimination from the Marriage Act, once and for all. Everyone has a right to be treated equally before the law. Together, we can make this a reality for all Australians.
