Organising online isn’t something that was invented in the advent of COVID-19 related lockdowns. Many groups have been been finding tech solutions or compliments to their activism for decades. In this talk, we will take learnings from these groups to discuss the benefits of organising online. We will also cover the risks to activists and make recommendations for ethical practices on the web.

This session unfortunately won’t have subtitles or an AUSLAN interpreter but anyone who is precluded from joining for this reason is strongly encouraged to get in touch with the organiser at activist.communications@amnesty.org.au for a transcript of the talk & an accessible version of the slides.
