Join activists from Amnesty and other campaign groups in the region, and spend a few hours developing your skills in campaigning and working to protect human rights.
This workshop will be conducted by Bede Carmody, Community Organiser for ACT/Southern NSW. Topics will include
* How Amnesty works
* Strategic campaigning
* Strategic communications
Bede will cover how to run stalls and how to engage people in human rights campaigns.
The workshop will finish at 1.00 when lunch will be served. Morning tea also provided.
The event will be held at the Mudgee Uniting Church Hall (89 Mortimer Street, Mudgee, NSW 2850, Australia)
